About Angela
Angela is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA), and also holds PBA Area of Practice Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. Angela is a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
Angela has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for over 23 years. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science (Applied Psychology) from the University of Southern Queensland, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of Queensland, and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Charles Sturt University.
Angela has worked across a variety of settings including community mental health, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, private hospitals, vocational rehabilitation, employee assistance programs, and private practice.
Therapeutic orientation
Angela provides evidence-based therapy. She predominantly utilises cognitive behavioural based interventions (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), however the approach that she uses is ultimately dependent upon the client’s individual needs. Angela may also use Schema Focused Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
